PRE-MOVE SERVICE & POLICY AGREEMENT
Acknowledgment of all service policies and move limitations is required prior to your move day. The signed document must be returned to confirm the scheduled move. The move estimate is based solely on items listed in the survey; any additional items may require extra time and result in increased charges. All-Ways Moving assumes no liability for any loss or damages for services requested beyond standard moving or outside company policies that are requested by the customer.
Customer Availability:
You must be available through the entire move, including all scheduled days, to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Packing Guidelines:
For the safety of the customer’s items and our crew, all boxes and totes must be 50 lbs. or less. Additionally, if you shake a box and there is vibration it should have more packing to prevent breakage from vibration during transport.
Pack heavy items in smaller boxes to make lifting easier. Avoid overpacking boxes, as this increases the risk of damage during transit.
PERSONAL/PRECIOUS ITEMS:
Personal or precious family items will not be taken and should be transported by the customer when possible. i.e. family photos, intimate clothing and sanitary items, jewelry, medicine, must-haves during the move. Movers can place them in your car upon request. Please refer to the full list of items not taken at the end of this document.
FITNESS EQUIPMENT PREPARATION:
All-Ways Moving & Storage Co. does not disassemble or reassemble fitness equipment for liability reasons. Electronic components, cords, and touchscreens must be removed, secured, and packed separately. Please refer to your owner's manual for manufacture instructions.
SPIN/PELETON BIKES – Detach the tablet or console screen, secure the flywheel, lower the handlebars and seat and remove pedals and power brick if applicable.
ELLIPTICALS – Pedals and arms should be secured. Remove the console mast if possible.
TREADMILLS – Disconnect the safety key, fold and lock the deck if possible. If the treadmill folded doesn’t fit out the door or up the stairs, then customer’s must take unit apart.
HOME GYMS – Remove or secure weights, fold the unit if possible. Keep cables tensioned to prevent derailment. Remove the bench when possible.
APPLIANCE PREPARATION:
DISHWASHERS/REFRIGERATORS/WASHING MACHINES/FREEZERS – Disconnect all water supply lines and ensure hoses are drained and secured. Appliances must be free and clear of personal belongings, standing water and fully defrosted. Movers will assist with removal of handles if needed at the customers’ discretion.
AIR CONDITIONERS: All Air conditioners need to be removed from the window and drained to ensure no water damage occurs on truck to other items.
SMALL APPLIANCES: Air purifiers, Humidifiers, Microwaves, Coffee Makers, Espresso Machines, Air Fryers, Toasters, Mixers, Slow Cookers, Ice Makers, Smart Ovens, and Bread Makers must be disconnected and boxed.
PLANTS: All-Ways Moving & Storage Co. does not transport plants. Plants are delicate and can be damaged by temperature changes or vehicle vibrations. Additionally, soil spillage may occur, potentially damaging other belongings.
LAMPS: All lamps must have bulbs and shades removed and boxed if possible. All shades must be boxed; larger lamps can be wrapped provided bulbs and shades are removed.
MECHANICAL/MEDICAL BEDS & CHILDRENS FURNITURE: All-Ways Moving & Storage Co. does not disassemble or reassemble children’s furniture, mechanical beds, or medical beds.
To prevent damage, all dressers, desks, cabinets, and similar items must be emptied before transport. Moving furniture with contents increases the risk of structural damage, including joint stress, drawer misalignment, warping, or failure of bottoms and backs & legs.
RAILINGS & DOORS: Our movers cannot remove doors, railings, molding or similar fixtures from the walls. Please be available or have a contractor available to do so, if needed to complete your move.
FRAGILE, HEAVY, OR HIGH-VALUE ITEMS:
Large, fragile, or high-value items, such as marble, stone, metal pieces, oversized glass, statues, chandeliers, and safes, may require additional handling, labor, or crating. This may increase overall cost.
GrandFather/GrandMother Clocks: GrandFather & GrandMother Clocks require re-calibration after being moved, even slightly across a room. This must be done by a trained clock expert. Our staff will remove the weights and pendulums for staff transport and replacement at the completion of the move, but this doesn’t include the re-calibration. Additionally, all weights, pendulums, chimes, etc. must be handled with gloves to prevent damage to the finish.
ELECTRONICS & DEVICES DISCLAIMER:
All-Ways Moving & Storage Co. is not responsible for damage, loss, or malfunction of electronic devices.
LANDSCAPING, GARDENING EQUIPMENT & GRILL PREPARATION:
Drain all fuels and fluids, remove batteries and attachments, secure cords, and clean and disassemble grills and garden equipment before moving. Flammable or hazardous materials cannot be transported.
PARTICLE BOARD FURNITURE: All-Ways Moving & Storage Co. is not responsible for moving particle board furniture/items. The mechanisms can become loose during transport, jeopardizing the stability of the pieces. A waiver form is available from your Foreman if needed.
MOVE CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS:
Extended carry distances, limited accessibility, additional stairs, tight hallways, low ceilings, or obstacles such as low wires or tree branches may require extra time and could increase costs. If movers determine that navigating certain areas poses a risk to property or personal safety, they reserve the right to suspend work in those areas.

THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SAFELY RELOCATING AND STORING THESE ITEMS BEFORE YOUR MOVE DAY TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL PACKING OF ANY ITEMS.
